Updated Logo: Inspired by founder Sam Walton’s classic trucker hat, the wordmark now features a modern, custom font.
The Spark: Walmart’s iconic spark remains, symbolising energy and guiding customers through every part of the shopping experience.
Fresh Colours: True Blue and Spark Yellow bring a clean, vibrant feel while nodding to Walmart’s heritage.
A Friendly Tone: Everything from Walmart’s voice to its photos is approachable and relatable, reflecting the millions of customers it serves every day.

Walmart’s Chief Marketing Officer, William White, explained:
“Our refreshed brand identity reflects Walmart’s longstanding commitment to evolving with our customers. While the design is more modern, it stays true to Sam Walton’s principles of saving money and serving customers better.”

When and Where Will You See It?
The refreshed look has already started rolling out. Store 4108 in Springdale, Arkansas, was the first to showcase the changes in October 2024. By January 2025, Walmart’s updated design will appear on its website, app, stores, and even its new corporate headquarters in Bentonville.

Throughout 2025, the redesign will continue to expand to other locations and platforms, making the Walmart experience even more enjoyable and seamless for customers everywhere.
