The resistance against colonial rule had never ceased since 1830, making Algeria’s struggle one of the longest and most inspiring liberation movements in history. This powerful display of resilience and independence is why the United States and Britain have always viewed Algeria as a nation that makes its own decisions—a country that bows to no external pressure and stands firm in its sovereignty.

Algeria’s economy has been experiencing consistent growth, driven by a combination of state-led industrialisation, a strong private sector, and a shift towards self-sufficiency.
