The Algerian government has decided to suspend all trade fairs and exhibitions as a preventative measure against coronavirus (COVID-19). In parallel, the exhibitors that we have consulted have come out largely in favour of the show being postponed to September 2020. Consequently, DJAZAGRO, initially scheduled from 6 – 9 April 2020, is postponed to 21 – 24 September 2020.
This postponement does not entail any changes to the current perimeter of the show. DJAZAGRO, the trade show for agri-food production, will take place as usual at the SAFEX Palais des Expositions in Algiers and will occupy the halls that were initially planned. The exhibition offering will be divided into different sectors: processing, filling and packaging, handling and transport, bakery-pastry, food products and beverages, ingredients and flavourings, catering, chilling and hygiene & industrial analysis.
The show this year will be placed under the banner of innovation, in particular with our new DJAZ’INNOV competition. Its aim is to pay tribute to one or several innovative items of equipment, products or services in the food processing field.
We invite all our visitors and partners to take note of these new dates, from 21 to 24 September 2020, to take part in the 18th edition of this major business event in Algeria.
