With the introduction of a new marketing initiative, Auchan Retail Portugal promises to have “frozen the prices” of necessities.
According to the merchant, the Cabaz da Poupança (Savings Basket) project enables families to save up to 50% off the regular price by offering a variety of food goods for a set monthly price.
The initiative’s core offerings include commodities like eggs and dairy products, fresh fish and meat, frozen meals, fruit, vegetables, and bread. It also contains items under both national brand and private label labels.
Auchan Retail Portugal has started a marketing effort on TV, radio, outdoor advertising, and the internet to publicize the new project.
According to brand director Isabel Dias, Auchan also offers a variety of necessities available all year long at the most competitive pricing. This is in addition to the Cabaz da Poupança project.
