Lineage Logistics broadens its selling of fresh vegetables across Europe.

Lineage Logistics has announced that it would expand its fresh storage solution offering, Lineage Fresh, across Europe.

Lineage Fresh, which began in the United States in November 2022, provides storage options for big importers, retailers, and fresh fruit and produce growers.

Lineage Logistics’ cold storage technology and worldwide logistics network are used to give value-added services and specialized skills through this service. Repacking and bagging services, reconditioning, restacking, restyling, container plugs, multi-temperature zones for produce, cold treatment, fumigation, container drayage, juice processing and blending, and integration of customs’ bonded facilities are among them.

“With our expanding European network, Lineage Fresh delivers cutting-edge fresh capacity and product knowledge, connecting the burgeoning fresh produce market with clients across Europe and the world,” said Edwin Wentink, vice president, business development Europe.

“Lineage Fresh capitalises on the investments we have made in Kloosterboer Group’s tradition of fresh product expertise and its class leading facilities in Rotterdam and Vlissingen, together with a growing foothold in Southern Europe. We are really delighted to present this unique solution at this year’s Fruit Logistica in Berlin.”

The Lineage Fresh service will be supplemented by the recently opened Cool Port II (November 2022). The fully-automated cold storage facility, located in the Port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands, includes a deep-freeze high bay warehouse with 60,000 pallet positions, three automated truck unloading systems, and a comprehensive variety of services to safely store and transport food goods.

It is also Rotterdam Short Sea Terminals that are strengthening Lineage’s capacity to link its clients to locations in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Scandinavia, and beyond.
