Ireland – producers of food are sought for the Grow with Aldi program.

Food producers are being encouraged by Aldi Ireland to think about applying to the Grow with Aldi program this year.

With the help of Bord Bia, the supplier development initiative seeks to assist small and medium-sized companies in developing their brands.

According to Agriland –  the Irish digital news publisher in the agricultural sector-, more than €8 million has been spent supporting about 230 manufacturers during the previous six years.

Successful candidates will have their products released in all 155 Aldi stores across the country in May as part of a targeted promotion after their items have been evaluated by a judging panel.

After that, a select group of producers will receive additional coaching and training on subjects including the purchasing process, supply chain management, and social media marketing.

Additionally, they will meet one-on-one with Bord Bia experts as well as the procurement and marketing teams from Aldi.
