The nation’s health experts share their top tips for Waitrose readers

Joe Wicks, Victoria Pendleton and Nadiya Hussain are just some of the famous faces who have provided their words of wisdom in the latest Waitrose Health magazine, out in shops and online today (29th April). More than 20 health experts have shared their top mantras with readers to help inject some positivity this spring, from taking a moment to do what we love (“A little bit of what you love does you good” – Nadiya Hussain), to making small steps towards your goals each day (as Greg Whyte advises, “do more today than you did yesterday”).

Guest-edited for the first time by wellness coach, podcaster and author Adrienne Herbert, the issue is packed full of inspiration and advice to embrace change and reignite healthy habits this spring.

Adrienne writes: “Often, in the first half of the year, many people feel frustrated by being unable to stick to changes in their diet or exercise plan. Shaking up your regime when it’s not working for you is one of the most effective ways to stay healthy and fit. Variety keeps it fun and interesting”.

As well as tips from Adrienne and well-known health experts throughout the issue, readers can also read more about how metabolism really works, the benefits of cold water swimming, and a guide to food-based supplement powders.

There are also a whole host of mouth-watering recipes to enjoy, including Parmesan & Oat-Crusted Chicken Burgers, Stir-Fried Rice Noodles with Fish Balls, and Asparagus & Mozzarella Salad with Roasted Tomato Vinaigrette.

Waitrose Health magazine (£3 or free for myWaitrose members) is in stores and online now.
