Frostkrone Food Group at the IFE in London

Rietberg/Germany, 04 March 2022. From 21 to 23 March the Frostkrone Food Group will be showcasing a huge selection of finger food and snack innovations at the International Food & Drink Event in London. The Group’s location at the exhibition will be Stand 4539. Some of the products that visitors will be able to get to know are brands like “Now This Is Cheesy!” – the cheese finger food range and “Ready To Eat” – the snack-to-go product line on the refrigerated shelves and also the plant-based range known as “Really?!”.

Tim Page, Sales Director for Frostkrone UK, is delighted that the IFE can take place this year. In 2021 it had to be postponed and rescheduled as a result of the pandemic: “We are now incredibly overjoyed to be able, at last, to welcome our customers personally to our exhibition stand once again. And it goes without saying that we have a whole line-up of new, exciting and amazingly delicious and innovative finger food and snack variations at the ready. It really is worthwhile dropping in on us.”

With Tim Page at the helm, the Sales Team from Frostkrone UK will present to the trade visitors at the IFE the interesting selection of products on their stand, they will answer all manner of questions and certainly engage in extensive talks with their guests.

Since February 2020 Innovate Foods Ltd and since April 2021 Abergavenny Fine Food Ltd, both from Great Britain, have belonged to the corporate group. This means that the Frostkrone Food Group has secured good, solid locations on the British Isles, boasting a total of 360 members of staff and two large, cutting-edge production facilities.

Let’s Talk about Snacks

More variety, more taste and more enjoyment: the selection of finger food and snacks, which the Frostkrone Food Group will present at the IFE, most definitely strikes a chord with the taste and lifestyle of the young, career-minded target group.

Ready To Eat

With its Ready To Eat brand, the Company Group has launched an extensive range for the chilled cabinets – the quick and so enjoyable solution found on the refrigerated shelves to quell those hunger pangs in between meals. Thanks to the wide variety of snacks on offer, customers can choose between vegan or vegetable creations –vegetable snacks, cheese snacks or veggie-cheese snacks. There are also several variations with chicken and three types of falafel. Here are some examples:

Garlic and Cream Cheese Coins: cream cheese and garlic enveloped in potato flakes, parsley, linseeds, quinoa, sunflower and pumpkin seeds.

Beetroot Tots: small and vegan, a vegetable mix made up of beetroot, potato, onion, apples, shallots, flavoured with the slightly piquant aroma of horseradish and scrumptiously enveloped in a coating of millet, quinoa and linseeds.

The Ready To Eat products can be eaten immediately or alternatively warmed up in the oven (it takes approx. 5 minutes) (www.readytoeat-snacks.de).

Really?!

The new plant-based range called “Really?!” offers a variety of completely vegan products that follow the philosophy of plant-based foods. The range covers all kinds of substitute products for cheeses and also for fish, beef and chicken:

Vegan Chilli Cheese Nuggets: this popular finger food classic presented as vegan snacks for in between meals is just as tasty and hot and spicy as the original chilli cheese nuggets.

Vegan Chicken Burger: this crispy, patty-style burger makes even dyed-in-the-wool meat eaters’ mouths start to water when it is served together with a sesame burger bun, crispy salad, tomatoes and a vegan sauce.

Now This Is Cheesy!

The brand “Now This Is Cheesy!” marries together all the delights of cheese in the handy and practical guise of finger food as in these examples:

Now This Is Cheesy! Halloumi Fries: sticks made of aromatic halloumi cheese in a crispy, golden batter, tempura-style.

Now This Is Cheesy! Cheese ‘O’S: these are cheese & onion rings filled with creamy Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese and perfected with finely chopped red onions in a crispy breaded coating.

The practical and delicious Pizza Pockets will also be at the IFE in all their different flavours including “Burger Style” and “Cheese and Salami” (https://pizwich.de/).

IFE – Trade Fair in London

The IFE is the venue for producers, distributors, buyers and decision-makers in the food industry and in the world of gastronomy. These movers and shakers will be there to forge new contacts, to find out about current trends and products and to exchange ideas. The exhibition, which is held in ExCel, the convention centre in London, is exclusively open to people from the trade.

“We offer consumers a diverse product range of chilled and deep-frozen, quick-to-prepare finger food and snacks. The Frostkrone Food Group has been an innovation leader driving this segment for years. And at the IFE, the trade professionals will surely be won over by our extensive expertise,” sums up Frédéric Dervieux, CEO of the Frostkrone Food Group.
