Northowram residents and visitors to the West Yorkshire village can now enjoy the convenience of a brand new Sainsbury’s Local, with the opening of the retailer’s newest store today. Located in the historic Tannery Business Centre, the 4,011 sq. ft. store will serve and help customers between 7am and 11pm seven days a week.
Sainsbury’s Northowram Bradford Road Local will stock a delicious range of great value, high quality branded and own brand favourites for customers to choose from. It will feature Sainsbury’s latest convenience range, including fresh fruit and veg, healthy snacks and food-to-go to sweet, savoury and frozen staples. Customers will also be able to choose from a delicious selection of bread and pastries, freshly baked every day, as well as pick up Argos, Habitat and Tu Clothing products ordered online via the instore Click and Collect service.
The store will also offer customers hot drinks on the go via a Costa Coffee machine.
Sainsbury’s is committed to supporting the communities it serves and has this week announced it will donate £3 million to fight food poverty this Christmas with the launch of its Nourish the Nation programme in response to the rising cost of living. Working with longstanding charity partner Comic Relief, Nourish the Nation is a long term programme that will fund initiatives designed to tackle food insecurity and ensure communities have access to balanced, nutritional, and sustainable food sources now and in the future.
