Grace Foods UK, the UK’S number supplier of Caribbean food and drink*, has launched a new range of snacks in Tesco and Morrisons.
Grace Exotic Chips are available in three tasty varieties, Cassava Chips, Purple Sweet Potato and Tostones. Tesco will be stocking all three, while Morrisons will be selling the Tostones and Purple Sweet Potato range.
Cassava is a nutty-flavoured root vegetable, Purple Sweet Potatoes are known for their rich concentration of antioxidants, while Tostones are crisp, flattened plantains. Grace Exotic Chips stand out from the snacks crowd as they have that real “crunch” factor because they are cooked in small kettle batches to maintain their delicious natural flavour.
The new Grace Exotic Chips along with the Grace Plantain Chips range don’t contain cholesterol or trans-fats so they are the perfect delicious, crunchy snacking alternative to potato-based crisps and snacks – and they are gluten-free and vegan.
Talking about the Grace Exotic Chips range being available to buy in Tesco and Morrisons stores, Giuseppe Vullo, Brand Manager for Grace Exotic Chips, said: “We are thrilled that Tesco and Morrisons stores across the UK will be selling our tasty new range of Grace Exotic Chips as, along with our Sainsbury’s listing, it means more snack lovers will be able to experience these taste sensations. They are the perfect summer snacking option for foodies looking for something a little different.
“And recent research showed that snacking in the UK is big as people have busy lifestyles and lots of people are now working in hybrid patterns. Snacking products enjoy 93% UK household penetration, and 38% of snackers say that due to their hectic day-to-day schedules, snacking throughout the day is a necessity, but they are aware of the need to select healthier options with added nutritional benefits**, and this makes our new Grace Exotic Chips the perfect range to satisfy this consumer need.”
The new Grace Exotic Chips range in 75g bags retail at £1.60 and are available to buy in Tesco’s and Morrisons stores across the UK.
