Simon Roberts named as new President of IGD

Simon Roberts, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Sainsbury’s, has been appointed as the upcoming President of IGD by its Board of Trustees. Starting from March 1, 2024, Simon will assume the IGD Presidency, succeeding Jason Tarry. Acknowledging Jason Tarry’s contributions, Simon expressed gratitude for his leadership in advancing crucial agendas. Emphasizing the pivotal role of IGD in uniting the grocery industry to address significant challenges, Simon highlighted the importance of collaboration and partnership for achieving impactful change.
