France : Coronavirus LVMH provides free hydroalcoholic gels to hospitals

Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH, asked French factories in the Perfumes and Cosmetics division of LVMH to manufacture hydroalcoholic gels. The production units for Christian Dior, Guerlain and Givenchy perfumes therefore began to produce hydroalcoholic gels in large quantities. These will be distributed free of charge to the health authorities. As of Monday, March 16, 2020, the Public Assistance – Hospitals of Paris (AP-HP) will be delivered as a priority. “Through this citizens’ initiative, LVMH intends to help respond to the risk of lack of products observed in France and allow as many people as possible to continue to adopt the right actions to protect themselves from the spread of the virus,” explains the luxury group in a Press release. And to specify: “this engagement will be maintained the necessary time, in connection with the French authorities”.
