MAYA ORR JOINS CONNECT MANAGEMENT AS MANAGING DIRECTOR
Connect Management has announced the appointment of Maya Orr as Managing Director to oversee several areas of the businesses including marketing and communications.
In just two years, Connect Management have become one of the UK’s biggest creator representation companies, working with several well-known clients such as Spotify, Amazon and PepsiCo, and boast an impressive roster of talent including Eurovision’s Sam Ryder and Lucy Bronze, England Lioness and EURO 2022 winner.
Orr joins Connect Management from LADbible Group where she oversaw the Marketing, Communications, design, licensing, and content acquisitions for the entire group for two years. With a wealth of experience, Orr has worked on some noteworthy projects including launching LADx with Jimmy Carr, as well as being integral to the IPO in December 2021. Not to mention, her department achieving over 100 award wins and nominations including the coveted Commercial Team of the Year at the Campaign Media Awards, Publisher of the Year at the Drum Awards and Media Brand of the Year at the Media Week Awards.
Working alongside founder and CEO, Benjy Leslie, in this newly created position, Orr will sit on the Board and will be responsible for several key areas within the business including all creative, reputation management, strategy, through-the-line marketing as well as expansion for the group.
