This year, Sainsbury’s is expanding its offering with a vegetarian option priced under £17 with Nectar, featuring the Plant Pioneers Meat Free Wellington along with traditional vegetarian trimmings.
Available with Nectar Prices from December 19th to Christmas Eve, this roast not only provides affordability but also contributes to a good cause. All proceeds from selected Sainsbury’s seasonal vegetables included in the roast will be donated to the Nourish the Nation program in partnership with Comic Relief. This initiative aims to improve access to balanced, nutritional, and sustainable food sources, addressing food poverty and supporting those in need.
To further enhance affordability, customers can enjoy these discounted prices by scanning their Nectar app or swiping their Nectar card in-store. Online shoppers with linked Nectar and Sainsbury’s accounts will have discounts automatically applied for orders delivered between December 20th and 24th.

The vegetarian festive roast for less than £17 consists of Plant Pioneers Meat Free Wellington, carrots, parsnips, Brussels sprouts, white potatoes, vegetable gravy granules, Plant Pioneers Pups in Blankets, stuffing mix, and a fruit sherry trifle.
Additionally, selected Sainsbury’s festive vegetables are available for 19p or less with Nectar Prices, with all proceeds donated to the Nourish the Nation program. These vegetables include white potatoes, Brussels sprouts, carrots, parsnips, red cabbage, white cabbage, and swede. The prices mentioned are based on the application of the Nectar card.
