Products recognised by consumers as being good value for money
A wide selection of Carrefour products have picked up consumer awards at this year’s Flavours of the Year and Victoires de la Beauté awards. The retailer’s products have proven extremely popular in five Victoires de la Beauté categories (traditional, organic, top innovation and responsible), and in two Flavours of the Year categories (Traditional Flavours of the Year and Organic Flavours of the Year)
Of the 31 products singled out at the Victoires de la beauté awards, the solid and eco-friendly shampoos in Carrefour’s Soft Green range, together with its toothbrushes with interchangeable heads were particularly appreciated by consumers. The 60 products which have won Flavours of the Year awards also highlight the sheer breadth of Carrefour’s offering: Carrefour Sensation vanilla-flavoured milk, Carrefour Bio mixed fruit cup and Carrefour Sensation “Emotion” strawberry jams. All of these products are popular among consumers.
These awards are given by demanding panels: there are 120 consumers on the Flavours of the Year panel and 1800 on the Victoires de la Beauté panel.
Numerous criteria are used to assess the products: the Flavours of the Year panel looks at each product’s appearance, its fragrance and its texture, as well as its taste, while the Victoires de la Beauté panel is interested in the overall levels of satisfaction each one provides, first impressions, fragrance and texture.
These awards are evidence of the fact that Carrefour prioritises customer satisfaction and quality at the best possible price.
