SPAR to acquire ANN FORSHAW trademark

SPAR distributor, the James Hall Group, has acquired Ann Forshaw’s dairy goods trademark and the related Alston Dairy for an unknown fee.

This recent acquisition adds to James Hall’s growing portfolio of food and beverage production companies, including Clayton Park Bakery, Fazila Foods, Graham Eyes Butchers, and the Great Northern Sandwich Company and all employees will remain with Alston Diary.

“We have offered Ann Forshaw’s goods in our SPAR shops for many years, and they have played a key part in our dairy categories, becoming solid consumer favorites. We will continue to source locally as much as possible, and the acquisition of Alston Dairy will allow us to safeguard that objective and keep the brand local.”
Hall intended to increase the Ann Forshaw’s brand’s presence in additional SPAR outlets while also developing new items in other categories.
