Swedish coffee company Löfbergs has appointed Anneli Ellsäter as its new Group CEO, making her the first woman to lead the company in its 120-year history. She will take up the position on 1 October 2026, succeeding Anders Fredriksson.
Ellsäter joins Löfbergs from Flora Food Group, where she most recently served as Global Vice President. She previously led the company’s Nordic and Baltic operations and brings more than 20 years of experience from international consumer businesses.
Before joining Flora Food Group, Ellsäter held senior roles at Procter & Gamble, Telia and TOMRA. She holds an MBA in Business & Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.
Löfbergs Chair Kathrine Löfberg said Ellsäter’s international experience, commercial expertise and leadership skills make her well suited to guide the company through its next phase.
Founded in Karlstad, Sweden, in 1906, Löfbergs has grown from a family coffee business into an international company. Ellsäter’s appointment marks a significant milestone in its history as the business continues to pursue growth and sustainability.
