This year, Tesco is celebrating 20 years in partnership with Cancer Research UK’ s Race for Life. Since the partnership began, more than 360,000 Tesco colleagues have taken part in a Race for Life event, raising millions to help fund the charity’s life-saving research.
Today sees the start of ‘Tesco Turns Pink’, the supermarket’s national annual fundraiser, which runs for three days and sees thousands of Tesco colleagues from across the UK raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Race for Life, in partnership with Tesco, is an inspiring series of 3k, 5k, 10k, Pretty Muddy and Pretty Muddy kids events. With events postponed till autumn this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and government restrictions, Cancer Research UK recently announced Race for Life at Home which encourages everyone – women, men and children – to take part in a 5k in their local park or neighbourhood in April and raise money for the charity’s vital research.
