British retailer John Lewis has renewed its creative partnership with designer Rejina Pyo, unveiling a second exclusive collaboration for Spring/Summer 2026. The 29-piece collection is now available online and across five of the retailer’s flagship stores, reinforcing a relationship that continues to resonate with modern consumers seeking understated sophistication.
Drawing heavily on the spirit of the 1990s, the collection channels a relaxed yet confident femininity. Influences range from the natural, off-duty elegance of Julia Roberts to the timeless photographic work of Peter Lindbergh. The result is a wardrobe defined by fluid silhouettes, effortless layering and a sense of ease that reflects both brands’ design philosophies.
Slip dresses, soft tailoring and casual denim form the backbone of the range, while signature design elements from Pyo—such as oversized collars and contrast topstitching—add a distinctive edge. A previously popular blouse has been reworked with a more structured, waist-defining fit, and tailoring appears in a fresh lime tone, offering a contemporary update to classic seasonal dressing.
Accessories play a central role in the collection, with the designer’s recognisable buckle motif returning as a key feature. The classic rectangular bag has been refreshed in cornflower blue, while a new hobo style debuts in suede and soft baby blue leather. Footwear follows the nostalgic theme, with minimalist strappy mules and kitten heels completing the look.
Speaking on the launch, Rejina Pyo highlighted the conceptual direction behind the collection, noting that the 1990s served as an attitude rather than a literal reference—focusing on simplicity, confidence and wearability. This approach aligns with John Lewis’ broader strategy of offering versatile pieces that integrate seamlessly into existing wardrobes.
Rachel Morgans, Fashion Director at John Lewis, emphasised the enduring appeal of the collaboration, particularly its tailoring, which she described as both timeless and adaptable across seasons.
Priced between £55 and £299, the collection aims to balance accessibility with premium design, positioning itself as a key offering within John Lewis’ curated fashion portfolio for the summer ahead.
