NatWest Group today announces the appointment of Harsh Agarwal as Managing Director, Customer Experience & Engagement. He joins the Retail Banking leadership team as the bank continues to pursue its growth ambitions.
Within Retail Banking, Customer Experience & Engagement brings together propositions, segment strategy and digital experience capabilities. Harsh will lead the function in creating simpler, more intuitive experiences across our mobile app, digital journeys, products and services, helping customers manage their money with greater ease and confidence.
Harsh brings senior leadership experience from global consumer businesses, including IKEA and Target, and a strong track record of connecting customer insight, digital innovation and commercial strategy.

Before joining IKEA in 2019, Harsh spent six years at Target, where he held a number of senior leadership positions across product management, engineering, ecommerce and fulfilment, including Director of Product Management, Guest Fulfilment and Director of Product Management and Engineering, Store of the Future. Earlier in his career, he held leadership and consulting roles in technology and ecommerce businesses across the United States. Harsh holds an MBA in Marketing and Information Systems from Arizona State University and a BSc in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.
